The Corlyon clan, 1935-1982:

My maternal grandfather, Harold Corlyon, was an enthusiastic home movie maker. He often had his 16mm Bell & Howell out at family events, both in my siblings and cousins memory of him from the mid 1960s through to the early 1980s, and in the memory of my mom, aunties and uncle from the time they were very small children. He made a great record of life in Wales, Ontario from the time their family moved there in 1935 to when it was inundated to make way for the St. Lawrence Seaway in 1958. This collection of his assembled films is now in the keeping of the National Archives in Ottawa but here is a transfer we had made of it for your viewing pleasure. Thanks grandpa!
