Southern Ontario Tech -Day

Was held on July 6, 2002 at Warren Young and Elizabeth Charlton's home in Toronto.

Airheads at work

In attendance were (above left to right) Michael Cooper, Warren Young, Roger Botting, Martin Aller-Stead, Fraser - well, here; let Warren tell it:

A big thanks to the folks who came over to help out at the "Tune-up" today. Top dog in my books is Roger Botting, who walked me thru the clutch re & re as well as supplying the specialty tools. He also guided Martin thru the installation of a Boyer on his 75/6. Scott Beach and daughter Adelaide pitched in...a special thanks to Adelaide for taking care of Fenton the wonderdog. Fraser came by with his ST...first one I've seen and he and Scott worked on both timing and carb sync issues. Ben Barkow helped out early and then took off for his birthday luncheon...many happy returns. Steffi blew into town...warm hugs and then off she flew again...taking the world by storm. Amed the K-bike guy from around the corner was so happy to see so many Beemers he just had to wheel by with his 87 K100RS. He just couldn't understand why we didn't know how to fix his cooling fan issues...Amed...say Airhead real slow. Nice guy. Finally Michael Cooper graced us with fresh bagels, smoked salmon and creamcheese and took pics of the whole schmoozle.

The weather was here...wish you were beautiful.
