Notes from Februrary 3rd meeting:
- The BMWMOA meeting is July 11, 12, 13, 14 in Trenton.
- We will go up to set up on the 10th, or late on the 9th. (Tuesday evening)
- AirHead Central needs only a tent / pavillion, couch(es), maybe John'stech stuf for cooking up diode boards, a coffee maker, etc..
- Tunes?
- We will try to have a ginormous B-B-Queue on either the Friday or Saturday night (roast Bison? Dead Ox? Flambe of Furniture Salesman? Escallope of Emu? Hmmmm????)
- Lawrence will scope out the tent, furniture and catering possibilities during a trip planned for next week (Feb 4 - 8)
- Lawrence will scope out the possibilities for a Shannonville track day.
- Instant-oprint photos were discussed, with ideas about enlisting Roger or Michael. Maybe a digital camers attached to a new-fangled photo-printer (contains 4 frantic Gregorian monks, one Franciscan Friar who does colour-checking, a Nun for buffering the line-up and a Sumerian to pop the stone tablets through the sad little slot)
- Martin will look into touring three areas: Quinte, Rural Ontario (including Rideau Canal), Toronto (with bikes left at the Oshawa GO station) and Ottawa (with consultation with Maria Minna, M.P.)
- Making reflective decals was discussed, and T-shirts. Martin will look into the production of the shirts. John, Scott & Lawrence will look into the decals. Scott will scratch ye olde cranium for inspiration on the artwork front that won't get our sorry asses blown outta the water by a Board of Directors' haemorrage.
- Scott will look into putting up a Southern Ontario AirHead website. (wemaster's note: How's this for a start?)
- Lawrence will bring information about a proposed Spring Ride forSaturday May 4th. to the Tech Day at Bino's on Feb. 23rd. This ride may go to the Cdn. Warplane Heritage Museum.
- Martin will bring a triple-beam balance to the tech on the 23rd. so Lawrence can weigh his ... pistons.
:^)
Please note that not everyone at the meeting is on my mailing list. Can
everyone please pass it around? I am missing Brett, Bino, Paul, John. (Ringo & George too)
thanks all.
- Martin Aller-Stead
